Deck Level Swimming Pools
This type of pool construction is where the water level is the same as the level of the surrounding pool deck. This kind of pool will make the swimming pool building look larger as if reflected in a large mirror. The filtration achieved by a deck level swimming pools’ filtration systems is superior to a conventional pool filtration set up. Usually the skimmers are the only point of exit for debris on the pool surface, with a deck level pool the skimmers are replaced with an overflow channel which surround the entire pool. The over flow sump for this type of pool can be covered in plastic gratings or by stone slabs or even with a cantilevered tiled pool deck concrete slab. The pool water flowing into this sump drain congregates in a balance tank from where it is pumped back into the swimming pool. This extra construction associated with the pool and plant makes it a more expensive option.

Vanishing edge swimming pools are also called Infinity pools. These can be very attractive and with the right setting can be very beautiful. The design of infinity swimming pools is very important and specialised. The location of such a pool is also very important also. It helps the total aesthetic to have a view, sea or countryside beyond the infinity pool. An infinity pool as well as a deck level pool provides better circulation than a skimmer pool. On the negative side, heat loss tends to be more in a functioning infinity pool than either and deck level pool or a skimmer pool. As with the deck level pool the perimeter sump drain is fed into a balance tank which allows the displaced water from bathers to be pumped back into the pool by a pump and control system.

Upon completion of a project, we provide a commissioning service, with each system tested before the client is trained in its use. A written document outlining the day to day running of the systems are left with the customer. This document is different for each customer and will usually be referred to for some time afterwards until the customer is familiar with their pool system. We can also call into the new pool to help out for an agreed time after completion until the customer is familiar with running the system.
